Picked one 16GB Black yesterday and it is in perfect condition, no scratches at all and everything is working fine so far. Miami, FL

Picked my Week 38 iphone 5 16gb Black/Slate sim free phone from the Uk Apple Store in Meadowhall, Sheffield yesterday, and am very pleased with it.

Too 14 attempts at trying to reserve one.

Just waiting for the sim swap to complete.

As I'm setting various bits up on the ip5 and swapping back to the 4s as this is still live i'm beginning to feel the difference and understand why some users say the ip4s feels short and kinda heavy after using the ip5.

Me, i like both !!

Yeah mine is perfect too...no marks or anything. Super fast, amazing battery life and so smooth going through the phone from apps to settings. felt weird holding my old 4S.

iPhone 5 White/Silver 32gb.
Delivered to my doorstep on 21 Sep 2012 @1634 hrs MT. Zero problems.
No scuffs, purple haze, lines on virtual keyboard, yellow tint, green corners, faulty buttons and battery life is great.

I love my iPhone 5 so much.

Finally, a positive thread amidst all the negativity and hate on this forum.

We got three iPhone 5 (two 32gb black and one 32gb white) at Porta di Roma Apple Store in Italy.

All of them are absolutely perfect.
No scratch, no hardware bug.

We're in love with them...

I have a black iPhone 5 and the wife got the white one and we have had them since September 21st. I am here to report that both phones were flawless out of the box with no software or hardware issues. Currently my wife is using a bumper and I'm living on the edge going naked. Weeks later both phones are still flawless with no scratches, chips, or dings. I have tried to recreate all the other problems people have been complaining about here but was unsuccessful. I can't even get the purple haze effect to show! The iPhone 5 is the best iPhone to date for sure!

Finally got a flawless one (16GB black) after my 3rd exchange. My lady's white one has been flawless since day 1.

Mines flawless here too, got it at Best buy. Its week 39 from factory 2...although i will say that it came with a loose battery when i bought it, but for the first two days i had been pressing on the screen hard all over the screen and corners multiple times throughout the day to push the battery on the adhesive..so far it seems perfect, seems to be staying put.

Also the phone came out mint condition no dings, scuffs, nothing. Pure out the box besides the loose battery that seems to be fixed. But yeah no hardware problems, nothing, flawless

The black iPhone 5 I got on launch day had scratches out the box. Waited almost the full 30 day return policy before swapping and my swapped iPhone 5 has no scratches at all! The only thing I think may be an issue down the road is that the power button feels a bit recessed compared to my previous 5 with scratches. I have Apple Care + so if I have any issues I can easily get it fixed!

Two 64GB Launch Day Verizon Black iPhone 5 - both cosmetically flawless and functionally flawless. I think QC went to crap shortly after the launch day units sold out and they struggled to catch up to the orders being placed.

Picked one up 3 days ago at a BB mobile, no idea what week it was manufactured but it's flawless as far as I can tell. :)

Seems there are more people with flawed, damaged, substandard iPhones than without.

The numbers don't lie.
