My iPhone 5 is fried

Sometimes it's not that the phone was dropped, it's the angle that it impacts the ground or whatever it falls onto. I've accidentally dropped my phones. One from about 3' onto the pavement. Sometimes there were no marks, sometimes there was a little ding and only once did I shatter the screen. I believe that was with an iPhone 3. I fell off of a shelf in the bathroom and landed flat on the tile floor. Didn't bounce or anything. Just landed flat so the screen took all of the impact. It kept on working though. Even with the glass falling out.
