My iPhone was stolen at work...

I have 3.0 and had the find my iPhone feature on MobileMe activated.
How do i get this working so I can find this person


FIND MY IPHONE FEATURE IS LIVE! I just have to wait for this dick head to turn my phone off
 
damn.... there isn't a way tat apple can activate this at all? i mean, if they'e stupid enough to plug it in, i took it off of my dev list of supported devices. it'll brick.

Its like a wallet ... if you find one return it... takes to damn long to replace all that crap.
stealing a phone is a sissy crime, cause its such a pain to replace it.
 
i wish i could use this as an excuse to get the new one, but it still sucks cause i'm back to the rzr
 
Where do you work? I highly doubt your co-workers, cleaning crew stole your phone. Best of luck .

I have my iPhone docked on an iHome while at work to listen to music, I went to the bathroom, cam back 3 minutes later and it was gone. The people next me didn't see anything and another guy's phone is stolen as well.

The guy who said his phone was stolen - are you sure he didn't steal it?

If he has an iphone, why would he borrow urs to check it out..? 😕

I used to work at Ingram Micro and I had my first iPhone 3G in a locker while I worked. We weren't allowed to take our phones into the work area, so I had to leave it in a locker. I used a lock on it and everything. I went to get it after my shift one day, opened my locker, and it was gone. I asked security if they could look at the camera tapes to see who took it, but they said that there were no cameras in the locker area, and just in the work area. How dumb is that? The worst part is, I had to pay full price for my replacement iPhone (the one I have now). So, essentially, I paid $600 for this phone. And damn is it worth it haha.

But I feel your pain, TC. It's a bitch when someone steals something as valuable as this. Same exact thing happened to me. I felt sick for the rest of the day.

it does suck. i can't even focus on work.
 
If you didn't buy it from the Apple shop (I don't know whether Apple offer this service) surely there is an insurance policy, I know there is on mine and all I have to do is submit a Lost/Crime number or something.

Sucks to hear this though dude. 🙁

What I would do would be to report it to the management and have a copy of your receipt/serial number handy. If you see somebody using an iPhone, ask politely if you can have a look at it (pretend like you're interested in getting one). If they're apprehensive about letting it out of their hands, report it and and have management check their serial number.

I don't know much about office politics but this just may work. That is, of course, if the thief hasn't sold it already.
