isnt that like a one year thing?, i got my ipod September 2007, when it first came out.

Insurance as in the same sort of insurance as car, house, property, etc. Some plans cover for accidental breakage of items out and about, but I guess you don't.

Either way - it serves as an excellent conversation piece!

well it was a walk, and we were setting up for that path. that's why the truck was there too.

Of course not. If companies allowed people to return products that the person personally had a hand in ruining, whether through negligence or whatever it may be, most companies would be out of business.
