It makes me chuckle when everyone says that they dont trust google with their info and yet, their whole life and all the info is probably on display on Facebook.

So Apple would definitely have a say in all these things, even if they don't publicly admit it.
Perhaps, but I do think blaming apple for not unlocking one customer's phone is misguided. I can only speak for ATT, but they have clear policies of when they will unlock the phone and its silly to blame Apple if I failed to satisfy those conditions.

I hear you OP, all my newphews (the younger generation) love android phones and would never use a iphone
They are always raving about all sorts of funky stuff there phones do but the one time i tried a samsung i just found it had almost too much

My feelings are the android phones do loads of stuff, but the few things the iphone does, it does it so much better

It does however P*ss me off that apple havnt even introduced wireless charging into there devices

so basically Android is better because Google as more access to your personal data (to a level you don't even imagine....)....

Your choice.

BTW, the $500 iPhone SE is the 64 Gb model: a 32 Gb SE doesn't exist.

I dont trust Google and I'm not using FB (nor any other social network).

Probably you are wrong. No Google, no FB, no Twitter, etc. I guess it is good news, you can stop chuckling over nothing.
Wasnt talking about you necessarily, but how many users does facebook have? All those people have their info on there do they not?

All of them have some info there, not necessarily their info or any real/useful info and/or much of anything.

All strong points. I'm primarily an iPhone user and Siri is inferior even to cortana to the point I feel it's embarrassing. IOS notifications are also pretty weak. I don't know that I'd be happy with iOS as a work phone, one of the reasons I use android for that (and of course I can have both of the top OS this way, guilty pleasure lol)

@the caveman:
You are right pointing out that a good number of people are leaving their lives on FB. But I don't think it is wise to generalize, especially not in case of those, who realize what companies like Google, FB etc. are really doing with your personal data.

Where is the hate in simply pointing out that people tend to have their info on Facebook? Sincw when is that a blind hate? Do tell
Oh, now that I've pointed out your rudeness, it is "simply pointing out". Sure. No intent in your OP whatsoever, right?
