My macrumors account is registered with a cancelled email address

I made this macrumors acount with an email adress but about 6 months ago I cancelled that account, I deleted it. How can I change the old email address with the current one that I am using so that I can receive the notifications via email.

if you have access to the account, which it seems you do. Just change your email address to the new one.

Thank you for the answer but it did not work, it says that the domain of the email is free and it is banned.

I am registered with a gmail address and never had any issues, even though it's a free email service. Odd
