Nice choice! How do you like it?

Haven't gotten it yet. Picking up at 330 est. It was a headache and a half trying to buy it. Apparently you need an appointment to go buy the phone. Crazy. So I ended up ordering it online today and will be picking it up.

Personally I would have been happy to wait till next year but my phone is showing signs of death and it's cheaper for me to get it while I'm in Nyc then in Australia.

If you aren't bothered about having the newest features and hardware and the headphone jack is a deal breaker then just get the 6S.
Only thing that concerns me is that you want it to last 3-4 years. I generally find they start to struggle with the latest OS and apps after 2 years. So getting a 7 will future proof you a lot further into that time plan.

Well you can always change your mind if you don't like the 7. The 6s with battery case is a great phone. A really great phone. The waterproofing on the 7 is nice, but make the speakers sound not quite as good. The home button makes some cases incompatible. The lake of headphone jack is going to be a hassle, trust me. Yes the 7 is nice, but is it nice enough??

I love my 7, also love the new home button, the headphone jack really didn't bother me considering everything is going to wireless and even the galaxy s8 might not come with the headphone jack. So it's going to be something you have to get use to in the near future anyway.

Cool, if the opportunity was there, then why not take advantage of it.

Personally I'm holding out until next year. (6+ user)

You aren't the only one, I'm still sticking with my 6s+ for another year. The price increase and loss of features like the headphone jack made it an easier decision than normal (I usually upgrade every year).

I bought a 7 for my daughter and after using it a bit my opinion was reinforced that it really is a cosmetic update for everyday use (you're not going to notice the processor bump in normal use).
