Either way I cant find anything wrong with my kit. I'm very happy with the kit and final look and feel.

Just one more question, you said you had pentalobe screw. Does your white digitizer's proximity sensor works flawlessly without any mod? or did you sharpie it?

sorry but can you give out specific instruction on how to sharpie ?
So, use the new or old sharpie(real dark vs running out of black)
and just one swipe or two or three?
can you still see thru with visible eye after sharpie? or just the sensor will be able to see through it?
etc

thank you.

Turn over the front display so your looking at the inside. Look at the 3 rows of little holes above the ear piece. Those are what you want to color. Just take a black sharpie and touch each hole. This will basically cover that rectangle area with the 3 rows of holes. That's it.

i'm really tempted to get another kit for my iphone... my front has more of a yellowish tint and is bugging the crap out of me haha. but i'll probably just wait till they release the official front with the new proximity sensor thingy

Cool. Nice instruction. I will try to lightly touch each whole with sharpie.

Do you recommend touch each whole or swipe it across the holes at one swipe? Did you use the flat head sharpie or pointy sharpies?

Sorry about many questions, but believe me you are helping me and others who wants to do this.
Thank you very much.

So here is my conversion to my White Iphone 4. I will give the contact info at the end of this in case anyone wants info about the kit.
The kit was packed perfectly. It came in one box. Within that one box were 3 smaller boxes. One box had the glass and digitizer. The second box had the glass back housing with flash diffuser. The 3rd had all the tools, new pieces for the ear piece and white home button. Also, each item was wrapped in bubble wrap.
Shipping was fast. I had the kit in about 4 days from DHL.
Support-Support was just wonderful. He answered all my questions previous to ordering my kit. Also he offered to walk me through the install if i needed help. He also gave me tips during the install to make it a bit easier. As far as the install, it really wasn't that bad. If you take your time and lay your screws out with the screw layout sheet (ill include link at end)you should have no problem.
The quality of the kit was, in my opinion, top notch. It just looks amazing. It feels...well solid. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything fit together perfectly with no issues. Everything works 100% and I have had no issues. The proximity does work although i did the Sharpie trick to be safe.
I tried taking really good pics but I'm no photographer as you will see so I'm sorry. I tried. If you have any questions or want to see another pic (as long as i don't need to open the phone up again LOL) let me know.
Disclaimer: I have nothing to do with the person selling this kit. I am only giving a review of the one I bought and installed. I had lots of people asking for the info and pics once i was done. All i can say is if your looking for a conversion kit (He has many different colors) contact him.

Very nice! A few questions:
- Is the back Glass (same as original back piece) or some other material?
- What was the cost?
- Can you buy just the back piece on its own?

Thank you.

Thanks. I just used a sharpie that kind of had a pointy tip. I didn't go across all the holes in one swipe. After you touch each dot, its probably almost like swiping across. I'm glad i could help!

Thank-you! As far as i can tell the back glass is pretty much the same.
the cost was 170 with free shipping. Again, it came with front glass/digitizer...rear glass w/flash diffuser...tools..and some mesh speaker replacements. If you contact him, he may work with you a little.
I'm pretty sure you can just get the back, although not positive and im not sure how much the cost would be for just the back.

Convert your black iPhone to white… and put a black bumper on it. LOL

Just get the White one! It will look even sicker! Good job BTW.

just ordered my white conversion kit from Wireless Wholesale Parts for $87 shipped. should arrive within the next few days.

I don't know where I can post for help with my problem but one of my screws is stuck. I was able to remove the right one (when the phone is front side up) but the left one isn't turning at all. Any ideas how to remove the left screw? It's the regular Phillips screw not the pentalobe.

Anybody know the cheapest place to purchase one of these kits from somewhere legit? I found one for $55 online, but I'm trying to see if I can get one for less.

I'm looking for red preferably. Thanks.
