Ordered a Midnight Green 256 11 Pro at 8:06 am this morning.Entered all of my information and processed the order. Got the confirmation number and saw my order under my account.

Noticed that they still haven't billed my card and the order disappeared from my account history. Clicking the order number link results in an order not found.

This is the first iPhone I've ever pre-ordered. Is this normal? Has it happened to anyone else?

If not I want to get back it before the dates slip another few weeks as ive already moved on from my XS max and using an old backup 4S with a 2hr battery life.
 
order status seems to be having some issues, my two disappeared also, now one is showing back up. I see one charge on my card but not the other yet.
 
I kinda expected that honestly. But I'm worried about it being double billed if I reorder since my order disappeared.
 
Through whom did you order? If it was through Apple, they usually don’t charge until the order ships. I’ve only ever ordered through them and AT&T, but I can’t recall how ATT handles it.
 
I got two confirmation emails (one for me and one for my wife), maybe it's just a hold to validate funds and it will drop off. I just want to see both of them back on order history
 
Same here, I got the "We're processing your order" email with a confirmation right when I bought it but now it all disappeared
 
Mine has disappeared as well for my wife's new phone. Guess we wait a few hours and see if it comes back.
 
I got my confirmation email at 8:07 eastern time and when I click on my order number I can see that it’s still processing. Now a few minutes ago when I went to double check something I could not get that page to come up and got an error message but nothing to make me think the order was gone.
 
Ordered at 5:02 and just checked my status, shows up and says something to the effect that I can’t change my order at this time. Scheduled for Sept.20 delivery.
Also shows the full charge on my Apple Card.
 
I have 2 orders and i used to see an "in process" status when clicking on order number but now i see "something went wrong". I ordered via Apple UP. Have a feeling AT&T thinks i'm going for 2 upgrades on same line and maybe cancelled both orders? Apple needs to get better at this. This happens e v e r y year
 
My order has reappeared in the order status on the Apple Store app. I see a pending charge for the phone, but assume that will drop and not happen until it actually ships.
 
Same has happened to me... These sorts of things occur from time to time with pre-orders. I expect both will show back up in a few hours. Otherwise I'll be getting them a little later than expected.
 
There seem to be some issues with the order pages. My iPhone order is still there but I sometimes get an error message when loading the page. My iMac which I ordered last year has been appearing and disappearing from the order page. I got a confirmation email a little late but I have the pending charge on my card. It seems to just be struggling with the load. If you got the email you should be fine.

No email, no charge... still think I am fine... time will tell
 
Looks like I got screwed somehow. Apple customer service cannot find my orders. Something tells me there was some conflict on back end with AT&T using the same phone # but only showing 1 upgrade. Oh well. My launch day dream is over.
