man this sucks... now i dont know if i should get in line even earlier or just come back in the afternoon. i was planning on being there at 6 am (with receipts ready in hand!), pick up three iphones and a samsung propel (new family plan customer), activate all 3 phones, and get out by 9 am. you guys think i could get this done by then?

My phone arrived at the store at 10:49 am as per the tracking info. I still haven't received a call or email. I think I am going to head to the store after work to double check.

4 am rofl

have fun sittin by your self waiting for a phone that is reserved to be yours at 7 am when the doors open

wtf.

yea there's really no reason for you to go @ 4am... as long as you show up that morning and you have one pre-ordered to your name, you're going to get it... but hey, if you feel like sitting in line for no reason, go right ahead :)

I'm off Friday, so I'll get up like a work day and get there about 8. I figure the fanatics crazy enough to be first in line are bound to have some type of credit or other issues mucking up the works. Always seems that way, anyway.

So if we have a family plan (4 lines), do we need 4 people to go or just the main account holder?

I want to go early but if I have to get everyone to go, then it's going to be harder for them to get up that early!

Do I need to show up early???

My phone has also arrived at the store, but Ive yet to recieve a confirmation email or phone call. I'm starting to wonder if I should call them to confirm. I'm also wondering if I need to get there at like 6-6:30 just to get ahead of the rest of the pre-order crowd simply due to the fact that I have to be at work by 7:30. Do you guys think that it could be busy at 7 just from pre-orders enough to warrent the need to arrive early?????

Call your rep.

There's most certainly going to be a line, so if you have to be at work by 7:30, you probably want to be be early. Hopefully they'll have enough staff for runners to get phones, registers open, and then agents to help people with their plans rather than the typical one person does everything. If someone has rate plan questions/issues it could slow the works way down.

"If" someone has rate plan questions. You know "those people" will be there in droves to tick off all of us who have been tracking every step of the delivery process over on the I Have A Tracking Number thread :D

Since both my wife and I are moving over to at+t and getting iphones, we both went to pre-order. I asked the sales person and she assured me my wife didn't have to come to pick up the phones, I could come, sign us both up on a family plan, and get both phones.

My concern is I tracked the phones to the store, getting delivered at 4 hours ago...but no email from at+t saying its ready for picking. Considering I got misleading/confusing/different answers on when they were opening (until I finally said they were supposed to open at 7 for pre-orders) I have little faith in my local at+t store.
