Here is his first photo. Nothing fancy, just point and shoot, but he wanted me to share it. He told me to tell you that there is much more to come and will be much better.

ps- he said it wasn't point and shoot, he said he used his photography skills to frame everything properly.

At 73 one thing that I appreciate is how the 13 Pro Max tames my "shakes"
as I shoot a macro hand held.
Beautiful photo!! I shared it with my father, he said he loves it!

He tried taking a macro photo of a flower today actually and it didn't come out good. He needs to practice lol. He didn't get close enough. And he told me not to share it lol.

My dad is asking me about a 13 Pro as well. I’ll buy it next year. Maybe a max. Anyway he doesnt shoot pics like a pro but his phone is his news, video, messenging, phone, gadget. it is extremely important For him. So kudos to you dad. Mine is 75 btw.

Another update: My father has recovered nicely from COVID. Just a little congested. I texted him from work and told him he should go out and take some nature shots as I had seen a lot of beautiful fall foliage on the way to work. He shot a ton of photos, but these are the ones he selected to share with you all.

He said he's tried to figure out macro but he doesn't know how to do it.IMG_0197.jpegIMG_0206.jpeg

My dad died when he was in his 40s from cancer. I was 14 at the time. Really sucked. Though he didn’t want anything to do with technology.

Wish I could of helped him.
I'm really sorry to hear that. Sometimes we take for granted what we have... but I try not to.

Sometimes we (technology enthusiasts) take for granted just how damn good these products are.

This is a good story and reminder of how good we have it with the current state of Apple products.
