my saddle brown/product (red) leather case for silver & space gray iP6/iP6s (updates)

Don't buy the new S leather cases. Only buy if you can get the old 6 series leather case.
I only got the new one for my 6 plus because I was really hoping for the saddle brown colour as last years brown was too dark and made it look like turd wrapping.
So I remember coming across seeing a deal on apple iPhone 6 (not 6s) leather cases at Target. they were ringing up to around $13-$15 for all colors. I went during my lunch when I saw the deal but none were there. My wife and I went again over the weekend and I was able to get a Product (red) leather case. I would have much preferred any other color but for $13.xx, you can't beat the price.
this red definitely has a softer feel with more grip right out of the package. I soften the buttons fairly easy and now feel totally broken in and clicks great.
I'll take some pictures of this one like I did the saddle brown and report back. looking at other pictures of the red being used, it's mixed. time will tell.

But don't these turn black/blue around the edges and corners really quickly? I googled it and some of the pics are shocking
yeah and that's the unfortunate part about this color (I guess all the light colored ones). for the price I got it for, I wanted to try it out.
Is everyone ok with the stretch marks on the leather? I thought they would have fixed this problem by now.
Also, do the buttons get easier to press on the saddle brown cases?
For my 6 Plus, the Red Leather case never softened up. But the Blue one broke in within a week.

it will be easier and quicker if you break it in yourself. I did both of my cases, the saddle brown and red simply by using the butt end of a letter opener (the butt end of a kitchen utensil will work just as well) and pressing the button. using my finger to push it back out from inside the case and repeat a few times. you'll be surprised how much the buttons open up just by doing that. try it.

100%. I've broken mine in now and I don't get that extra grip at all. Disappointed but I've always wanted this shade of brown - that's the only reason I got it.
