Thanks for the upload buddy. That is one slick machine

Is that a 13" or 15" MBP you compared it to?

ok, thanks. Your MBA 11" is much smaller, and so wafer thin. Amazing.

how are you finding the panoramic screen ratio, esp height wise

in the  menu > about this mac > hardware -- does it say what make/model SSD it is?

That's plenty fast enough for me!

Quick question, how noticeable is the glossy screen? Do you see reflections? I cannot stand glossy screens on the MBPs so hoping this is less noticeable...

cool to see non-major website photos and video

i hope to receive mine in the post tomorrow. got a lacie 64gig key to go with it

Standard current MBP's have Glassy screens, ie glass in front. This Rev D MBA is the same as the previous MBA's with a glossy coating, but no glass

It is not that high yes... i am not a fussy person (honest!) so seems ok. But looking at my MacBook Alu screen it seems massive now!

Thank you. So I'm guessing the reflections aren't as bad, but not quite free off glare as a matte screen...?

That would explain it, I was just about it to say it doesn't seems as reflective... just.

Thanks. Looks like it could be anything in there. A Samsung, Toshiba or?

Guess we'll have to wait for a tear down report

It is reporting at 106.66 remaining with only flash plug-in and Flickr client installed. Plenty for me... will use the MacBook to store video for my Apple Tv... my new server!

EDIT: Scrap that... also 2GB of video on here.. forgot about those.

iKennett - can you run a hard drive benchmark application on your Macbook Pro and your new Macbook Air, and list the results. I am extremely interested to see the difference in read and write speeds.
