My water sensor has been tripped, HOW?!?!?!

"I wouldn't feel any guilt in painting it. "

Would you also roll back your odometer in your car if you exceeded the 60,000 miles on your warranty so you could get something fixed?

What if you needed your car to get to work but couldn't afford the repairs without the warranty?

You gotta do what you gotta do. We can play the morality game all day but it is what it is.

Very good comparison, but in this case, Apple shouldn't deny you warranty. Someone who stays in a humid environment shouldn't be treated the same as someone who was just careless with their phone and dropped it in the water. If my phone breaks because of a software problem or a battery problem, and I'm denied because of one measly drop of water, I won't feel bad trying to get around it.

Then I'm assuming you would have no problem in getting ripped off yourself since other people "gotta do what they gotta do" to get by.

If my water sensor tripped from being in my pocket all day and I was NO where near a moist/humid environment, I would paint it. I don't care what you all say, but I would sure as **** paint it.

Working in a laboratory doing experiments with different types of liquids, however; I take all responsibility if my water sensors were tripped due to negligence.

i was in the apple store today because my vibration motor went out. they were going to replace my 3g, however the genius came back saying that one of my liquid indicators was tripped, therefore voiding my warranty.

it was never near water since it's manufacturer. i kept it immaculate. i was calm, assertive and offered fair arguments, however the genius said it's "against policy to make any acceptions"

********.

oh, but i could pay 199 to get the components replaced. kiss my ass
