too bad the home buttons are super off on the blue and red
Not sure why everybody thinks I'm this Michael person. Martynov is my last name and doesnt associate with novikov. None the less, yeah i did notice the slight misalignment in the home button and I'll contact them on Monday to see if they can fix that.
As far as the red and blue goes, the home button color is off but these are just samples so maybe theyll update that. If i do visit them on monday I'll post an update to all your questions.
On the other note, if my signature is violating any rules I'll remove it. I'm merely trying to help these guys out because they are eating dirt because of the old owners.
why does the red back have black wording for "iphone" as opposed to mirrored silver?
i wouldnt let iresq work on my phone I had to send an iphone 2g to them 3 times to fix a digitizer. it came back halfass back together and the new screen would break after a week every time. Maybe they learned what they were doing since then but that was enough of a headache that I wont use them again.
The issue I've been having is that when I am on the phone and its not next to my face (i.e. the screen is on) and I try to touch the screen, the sensor is overly sensitive and will cause the screen to turn off and on. If I keep my hand low and away from the sensor the screen is fine.
ifix support told me if I was comfortable with taking my phone apart and could get to the front panel of the phone where the holes are for the sensor and that I need to use a sharpy marker and mark over them. This will obscure the light coming in a bit and will fix my problem. I haven't done it yet but I will try it this weekend. Wish me luck.
Also when I got my phone back from them the home button was slightly crooked. They should be sending me a new one to fix this.
So far so good!
Well I sent an email to ifixdirect support yesterday afternoon for an issue I've been having with my white front's proximity sensor. I had them covert my phone way back last November. No response yet. Let's see how long it takes them to respond under their "New Management". Par for the course last year was about 3 to 4 days... And that was before they really went south on customer service apparently.
Have you tried taking photos/video with flash on? I heard some of those white cases make the camera unusable because of light leaks...
