Myspace was experiencing a lot of problems yesterday as was reporting on the main page when you log in. So most likely it was an internal problem and not your computer. However, if you have been getting those messages prior to yesterday and on a consistent basis then there is something wrong on your end. And we'll have to figure out why.
I'm a myspace addict and I never really have a problem with the site. Even last night it was working pretty well just a little slow. I run it on an old PowerPC through Safari no less.

I don't hate it. I just think it's a waste of time and poorly set out. It looks horrible. Emo sucks too. Posting on here is much more worthwhile.
facebook...all around a better site, much better UI, but if you really want to use Myspace, try FF or Camino

When you say clear your cache, I'm not sure what you mean. I searched 'cache' on the Mac Help, and it said I can delete these two software update files? I deleted one of them, but couldn't find the other. Is this what you mean? Myspace still doesn't work

In Safari:
Click Safari in the menubar when Safari is the active window, then click Empty Cache.... In the dialog that appears, click the Empty button.
does that mean i shouldn't bother looking for your profile lee?
Yep- I deleted it a long time ago. It was a creepy place. The messages people sent me verged on illegal.
Is anyone else having problems uplading JPG images made in Photoshop to MySpace? Ever since they rolled out that new fancy uploader if I try and select a JPG I've made in Photoshop it automatically deletes it saying it isn't a valid file format.
But if I, say, upload the JPG to imageshack, download it from there, and try and upload THAT version...no problems.
What gives.

have used myspace for a little less than a year.. both on my windows pc and MBP, safari, firefox, IE..no major problems as of yet.. only problem has been on myspace's side with uploading pics and login, but not browser/OS specific..
..and macs hate Myspace! (As do I).
I refuse to make a profile, or look at people's profiles if they link me. MS (haha, note how it shares the same intitials as another terrible force in the universe) makes my eyes burn. It is so darn ugly and poorly designed.
Facebook or LJ are vastly superior, if you are into personalized social sites.

You'd be suprised, I often got errors on MySpace with Safari, yet swapping to Camino didn't yield this error. Safari has trouble sometimes. Especially with graphic/applet intensive profiles. Camino manages a lot better.
