I admit, I'm a MySpace addict... it's hard not to be when all your friends use it. Like they said on diggnation once, it's just one of those things you have to use, whether you like it or not. It's a part of life now.

But I must say, the interface is horrible. I wish they'd tear everything down for a weekend and introduce "MySpace 2.0." We could really use an upgrade. Everything feels like it was thrown in as they went.

Amazing thing is that POS website sold for over a Billion dollars. What is this world coming to

I, for one, am glad that Apple banned MySpace from there stores. This should free up alot of space...

Did they? I was just at an Apple Store and I was able to get onto MySpace.

I don't see the point of it - but unfortunately my friends are "addicted" and a lot of communication, unfortunately, takes place through there.

It's not all apple stores, I think its all the NY stores and a few others here and there.

I would love it if all my high school friends switched to facebook. But once they see that you can't make your website look crazy with HTML and songs, they say no.

Myspace does not hate Macs!

At least you can always use the Finder!

 MYSPACE IS POLICALLY BIASED!

I've looked at a couple of Myspace pages and the lay-outs and colours are awful. :(
Why can't they look at website pallet sites?

i go into seizures when I visit myspace...well, ok, not seizures, but I do get nauseated.

I think kids/ teens are far more accepting of the bugs on myspace as it is a means to an end, plus most of them a re on pc's so they are used ot things not running as well as s mac users expect ;)

myspace has made some changes over the last few days adding pretty icons and making it at least look more user friendly, even though it is not ..

i think im the only person who have never been on or checked out facebook

Not quite. I've never been on either facebook or myspace, and judging by the comments in this thread, it's a good thing too. I manage to get through life without social websites, but then again I am a billy-no-mates. Are the two things related?

Actually, isn't this a social website? Mmm. I'm off for a while to think about that... on my own. :D

I'm pretty much in the same boat, I don't "hate" it like a lot of people here. The thing I dislike the most about it is the poorly coded profiles my friends have that usually take ages to render. Oh and as well as the ones that have songs w/o pause buttons. I'd prefer to keep in contact via email after being in the corporate world for almost a year, haha as lame as it sounds I prefer evites, reply to all and grouped emails. But I do see the convenience the way my friends use it, bulletins (so long as they aren't those god awful surveys/forwards) and then the group invites, birthday reminders etc.

I definitely welcomed the addition of private profiles and the fact that it requires and email address or last name to add you. I'm not really interested in meeting complete strangers via myspace. Oh and what was pretty cool about myspace was the addition of the albums and multiple picture uploads, because I recently went on a cruise with 20 other people and it made it a heck of a lot easier to share photos or to see each others photos of the trip… It's a pity though that the quality is not up to par =/ then it would've been worth it to save some of them.

IMO Facebook isn't any better these days, it was probably alright when it was exclusive to Harvard Students. (When it was really an elitist site) But now it's just another band wagon social networking site. Where for some reason a handful of it's users think they're a better person for using it, lol.
