Was gonna get the N9 but its expensive and no dev support, plus its internals are quite ancient by today's standards. Then looked to the Lumia 800 but also expensive, no front facing camera and seem to be having issues (battery) when i was shopping around.

Try the Lumia 900.

Was in the T-Mobile store was dying to try the Lumia 710 I have to say I actually really liked WP7 so I bought an unlocked one online for use when im in England visiting my mum love my iPhone but,Nokia has always made really excellent hardware

Nokia N9 and Lumia is the only non iPhone phone which has exquisite, clean, sleek and unique design. You hear that Samsung? UNIQUE design!! Some design that doesn't remind me of an iPhone. Can you do that Samsung?

Yeah if Apple didnt make any iPhone, this Nokia is definitely would be my choice.

Two words... Galaxy Nexus.
Designed and made by Samsung

Curved front display and shape is very comfortable and looks great too. Oh and it's totally unique too. ;)

Two words: Butt ugly.

The previous poster was referring to exquisite, clean, sleek and unique design. Samsung's designs are not exquisite, not clean, not sleek (sleek != thin) and DEFINITELY NOT unique. A comfortable shape, curved front and "looks great" does not mean exquisite, clean, sleek and unique.

I think you should consider that not everyone likes the same thing.

There's nothing wrong with samsung's design, not to the level of calling them butt ugly. And I think people might be a bit forgetful of past iphone designs. The 4 series is a nice piece of work but the 3 series and the originals are not designs that aged all that well.

There's design that looks great and there's design the works well everyday. The iphone 4 looks great but it's really not the best device to hold in your hands. It's slippery, fragile and when it's been outside in the winter it's bloody cold without a case. Some of the new design ideas with more curves in the phone are a good thing. People aren't square shaped after all.

I'm comparing apples to apples. It's not fair to compare PAST iPhone designs with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. And vice versa.

Samsung's design looks like an engineer layered on some cheap plastic AFTER design the internals. Nokia's Lumia series shows careful attention to internal hardware (CPU, GPU, etc.) as well as external (outer chassis). There aren't odd bumps and edges and holes in random places.

Samsung's color schemes of various shades of grey scream boring and dead. The iPhone 4/4S comes in stark contrasts with pure black and white models. Nokia's Lumia series pop with vibrant color. You know if someone has a Nokia Lumia (bright color, sleek, clean design) or iPhone 4/4S (metal band, clean design). A Samsung device looks so generic.

These are just my opinions.

I like the Nokia Lumia 800

but you can't say that there isn't a resemblence with the

Maybe that's why I like the Nokia Lumia...
