I tried something like that in the past, but after a while it will start collecting dirt.......

How is that even possible, when its a wet application, so it would be like getting dirt under a screen protector. I dont see how that could happen.

Lol, is a product RED phone haha, customized it

A red iPhone 6  where did you get the custom housing? I saw many custom iPhone 5 housings in blue red gold... But never found a custom 6 back. Can you please post photos of the front and side?

I'm the exact opposite, the 6+ is the first iPhone I've had a case for. Too slippery and big to not have one IMO.

I run naked and the thinness of the iPhone 6 makes it easier to handle IMO.

I've just got the BookBook for iPhone 6 plus. Expensive (£50) but really lovely. It's a leather case with a separate case? I'll try n post a photo. View attachment 523189View attachment 523190View attachment 523191

That is one crazy looking case.

And what do you use?

you could use eye glass cleaner and a microfiber, or spend some money on iklear. but just for the back a lightly damped microfiber towel is good enough. for the front sometimes i just use a microfiber. or an oakley sunglasses bag

I was going caseless, but after one drop outside onto gravel I made a small crack in the bottom right part of the phone. The crack is so little and not noticeable that I'm just going to use it like this for a while until it gets worse (so I can get more value out of my $79 w/ Applecare+) and I work for a cellular company so I get to "demo/keep" a case for free. I am currently using the clear Tech21 case and it has added a lot of grip for me to the phone. Definitely a little wider which is more difficult to handle with one hand, but overall it's a really sharp looking case and I have gotten tons of compliments on it too.

I never shatter iPhone's and always go caseless. Usually extremely careful but all it takes is one wrong drop at the wrong time and you're done. Stinks!

I don't have a way to show you a photo of the back of my 6 plus right now, but its in perfect condition. No case, no protector, nothing. I've had my 6 plus (space gray) since October 4th (over 3 months). I keep the plus in my pocket, throw it down on my desk, it bangs around in my car in a slot near the dashboard. I've bumped it into a metal lamp, dropped it onto wood from a low height and placed it down hard accidentally on various surfaces, including metal. In fact I store it in a metal tray at home, where I throw my keys, etc. Not ONE scuff or scratch. It definitely holds up way better than the 5 (I had it in black)-- which had a couple of marks on the edge (which is why Apple doesn't do that color or the chamfered edge anymore).

Cases are not needed for the 6. Period.

Its all a matter of getting used to something different. Its not slippery, just different. Once you get used to it, its fine.

Lies. At least small imperfections don't bother you.

Funny, you quoted a post from 1.5 years ago -- and the back of my 6 plus is still perfect. I do have a tiny ding on one corner -- bottom left (not the back -- the side).

So going on close to 2 years. Despite one small ding -- no issues. So why would I need a case?

Cases are like the TSA -- security theater.
