I got my Sport when the Watches were first launched, and have never had any kind of case or cover on it. I've accidentally whacked it against walls, desks, etc. and for the most part it's held up well. The screen, however, does have some scratching on it; it can be pretty apparent if you look at it sideways when the screen is off, but you can't see the scratches at all when looking at it directly or when the screen is on, so it doesn't really bother me.

Well had a glass screen protector on my 42 space gray. But the edges looked bad where dust was collecting just under the edges. So I pulled it off and gonna run naked for a while. How many of you are running naked screens with no problems.

Get one of these. http://www.amazon.com/Monoy®-Premium-Transparent-Lightweight-Protective/dp/B00XONVW0W

It's like $8.00, protects the screen and sides of the casing and is barely visible.

Mines been naked since release day (42, SS) it's been dropped, bashed off doors, walls, paving slabs, bricks and on one occasion flew into our unsuspecting collie. Not a scratch on the screen surprisingly. But I took no chances and got AppleCare just in case.

I have the same types of invisible scratches on my iPhone 6P. You can only see them wth the screen off from certain angles. After 3 weeks of constant use, my Watch Sport is still free from scratches, but I know the day is coming...
