Caze Thinedge bumper with no skin. The skin interferes with my uNu battery case.

Definitely a case here.

It really irks me to see some people run naked/unprotected with the iPhones, relying on & exploiting AppleCare+ for when damages occur that could have been prevented with a case. I call this abuse.

It irks me so bad because Apple has upped the price/incident probably because of people abusing it.

And there are some decent cases out there that are very slim and/or show the iPhone via see-thru plastic.

It's probably gonna get worse with these look-at-me gold iPhones out there now.

If Apple meant for us to use a case, they'd have built it onto the phone. They did not, so how is using a phone naked abuse of the system?? Please enlighten me.

This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Having a case on does not always guarantee an undamaged phone when dropped. Unless you're using one of those awful, ugly looking Otterbox cases.

I don't think anybody is abusing AppleCare. They only upped the price because the 5s is harder to repair because of the Touch ID sensor, not because of "abuse."

And why on earth would I cover my beautifully designed phone with a clear piece of see-through plastic that's made in China for 30 cents? People like you "irk" me because you'll never get to enjoy the look and feel of your phone because you insist on covering it up with cheap garbage and because you don't want to "abuse" AppleCare. You don't like AppleCare because people are abusing it? Please, that's just a lame excuse for being cheap.

Gotcha, I thought you were saying squaretrade was $79, not AppleCare+. I think for me it all comes down to how much Apple charges for an out of warranty replacement now, it used to be only $200.

Yeah. Then it went to $229. Now its $269 for a out of warranty replacement:eek:
