That is BS. I mean your already a customer of Verizon, and they would rather lose you to another carrier, than keep you happy instead ?

In my business, if a customer said they wanted a buy a new product, and I said no only at full price, they would say F. you buddy, and go somewhere else. But I want to keep my current customers happy, so of course would let them buy or upgrade to the product they want, than worry about losing them for good.

**** Verizon if they gonna be d-bags like that.

That's what I pointed out. I'm just, like a handful of days, out of their 'oops should have told you we were getting the iPhone window', so they are basically trading $2200 for my $350 ETF that i'll get back by selling the Droid X anyway.

I wasn't all, give me a free phone, but was hoping for a little consideration.

That is crappy customer service. Can you go to another store and try dealing with a respectable manager that should want to keep your business. Or is Verizon now gonna be like "We got the iPhone now b!tches, and bend over if you want one from us, higher data prices, and we don't care if you piss off, we have millions in line for this phone, already."

Afraid they will be like that. Make me wish there was a third carrier in the U.S. like Sprint or T-Mobile that also sold the iPhone.

Yeah. Really thinking the ATT route is best. Verizon's attitude really turned me off. I even had one rep tell me to check the better business listings to 'get the real story' about ATT.

I'm replacing a cracked Motorola flip phone that's been alive since April 2008.

We're going to smash it on a desk and run it over with a car. Can't wait :D

1 VZW iPhone4 will replace my VZW LG Voyager

and

1 VZW iPhone4 will replace my wife's VZW LG Dare

What ? ok...if you want a downgrade I guess.

I have a rooted EVO woth custom rom, this phone is hands down the best smartphone available today still. My brother and Sister both have the iPhone4, and it feels outdated and stale compared to my phone, plus the tiny wristwatch size screen sucks on the iPhone4.

Wristwatch screen? You need glasses old man.

Droid X here. Not a bad phone but it was very buggy. Even today, it froze twice. All in all, it won't be missed (except for the free tethering through PDAnet which I'm sure will be available when the CDMA iPhone is jailbroken).

I used to have a 3gs then got the incredible b/c of where I moved had no att :( but now getting the iPhone 4 in a week :D

i'll probably be trading up my HTC EVO. I do feel like I'm downgrading but not much since the apps are better on the Iphone.

finally putting the trusty blackberry to sleep. Blackberry Tour. ...Funny story is in December I bought my girl the Samsung Fascinate and I bought the Droid 2.. a few days later I started playing with the ipad, fell in love with it, got one for christmas and havent put it down since. Since I knew there were rumors of iphone coming to verizon in January I had to hold out so I returned the Droid 2.. now hurray! Iphone 4 for verizon. Love it! My girl still loves here fascinate so she can continue to rock it untill I convert her to the apple ;)
