So then you averaged about 150 miles per hour? Ummm...really?

Actually the math works out to 146 MPH.

Was the car I was driving at the time capable of this?

Yes.

Did it actually happen? Doubtful.

This is based on the recollections of friends I talked to on the phone from my house in Lakeland before leaving for Daytona, and then met in Daytona, ( long before cell phones). Personally, I don't remember much, ( remember, we drank a case of beer in transit!).

In retrospect, I'm just glad no one got hurt. I'd rather gnaw the end of a loaded gun and pull the trigger than face the reality that someone died because of my stupidity. And that what it was; young, dumb, and invincible. That something terrible didn't happen was a lucky accident!

How about run along the top of a moving train, jumping across cars and then waving at the conductor of the other train as he passes you going the opposite direction. I found out the waving part is what made him call security. Then it was kinda like a real movie chase for a while. My friend and I split up, because that always seems like a good idea, unless your the one they go after and you get caught. Boy were my parents mad. Ah, the days of care free youth and the feeling of invincibility. :D

This thing. They are easter candy in US, possibly other ones. Everytime they come out coworkers and friends are amazed that I haven't ever had one.

So I guess that one is probably limited to US people.
