People complaining about another companies product being too expensive on an Apple oriented website is apex irony.

Nonsense.

There's a difference between premium and luxury.

People happily pay for quality tools, be it power tools, cooking equipment, or computers. It's worth the price.

Nanoleaf is less premium (their quality isn't that great) than luxury (check out those prices).

Apple has never been a luxury brand (apart from their failed attempt at luxury watches when AW debuted). They're a premium brand.

So this wall costs ATLEAST $4,320… and that’s just the damn boxes- not the tv, speakers or light bars…

This is just silly and anyone who has that kind of money to burn should invest in their retirement or take a good vacation or donate to charity etc.

😂

I would personally go the DIY route for something like this and pay about 1/5th of the cost. But, if you have the money and have valuable items to display, I don't see the problem here. If you are spending $4320 to display a few hundred dollars worth of items, I don't think it makes good financial sense to buy this set up. However, people should spend their money however they please.

'Siri light up my shoe display boxes' 😂 sad..pathetic
To be fair, these should have considered function to clean and sanitize the shoes that can fit in these boxes like LG’s unreleased (and possible still coming?) Styler Shoecases.

That said, it’s not pathetic; it can easily be framed as smart with naive ways average and not well informed sneaker buyers who keep shoes in the original cardboard boxes.

Personally I'd save that money for an RTX5090.

The pricing isn't bad at all relative to display cabinets. Eight of the boxes = $600. Spend some time researching different options for storage furniture and you'll see what I mean. Outside of IKEA or Wayfair or Target, it's competitive for something that's enclosed, modular and includes lighting. It's really more about whether you like the resin aesthetic or not.

Well, on the subject of vacations: what do you say of people that spend $6K on a business class ticket from the US to Europe? That's just a one-time thing and then it's done. By comparison, this is a steal! $4.3K and you have it for years.

I am not advocating this setup — I personally find it garish. But your argument can be turned around pretty trivially. I could see Twitch streamers getting stuff like this to make their setup more distinctive, and then that amounts to earning money. A ton of LED lighting products have strong uptake amongst streamers, in particular.

Anything worth displaying shouldn’t be put in a cheesy plastic box. Unless you want your house to look like an electronics store in Chinatown

People who buy these refuse the right to complain about the price of any products. If this is what people want, then they may as well burn money. Nobody needs this in their house to 'show off' their stuff
The same logic applies to any decor or non essentials. Nobody needs anything that isn’t food, clothes, and shelter (or tools to get you those things). Yeah this thing might be an overpriced piece of crap but that opinion is not really up to others to dictate.

Yeah I agree. Although I didn’t dictate and I think you were suggesting I was. It was an opinion, like every other opinion on this forum.

its a render. the wiring alone would be a compelling reason to go custom. this is fake and silly.
