Also, in Navigon running on iOS5, adjusting the voice volume in settings affects the global volume of the iphone, nut just the navigon voice volume. This started happening on iOS5. Hurry with the update already!

Seems to be fixed in 2.0 but I need to test further.

Should save substantial amount of disc space since we now have option to download maps for individual States rather than the entire North America.

Is the update to 2.0 free if you have purchased the regional versions? I only purchased the East and Central Regions.

I'm annoyed by freshmaps XL, when I bought navigon they said it would be free for lifetime map upgrades, now they want $20. I think there should be a discount for those of us who already had Navigon, like maybe $10...

How long does the $20 map subscription last for? Doesn't say on the in-app purchase description.

Sorry for the hijack...

I upgraded this morning and the app doesn't seem to recognize that I purchased the Traffic Live add-on previously. I went in and did the "Restore Purchases" and it restored the Panorama view, but there is no check mark by the "Traffic Live" add-on.

I could just try to buy it again and hope that it recognizes it then, but I don't want to get hosed out of $20.

Any suggestions? I did e-mail Navigon by the way.

Steve

I've always been able to upgrade it by "buying" it again which would then be recognized by iTunes so no double charge. Hope this helps!

Thanks. The $14 isn't a bad price then. I remember having to pay over $100 for map up dates for my old dedicated SatNav just a few years ago.

I guess the updates will come out starting at the end of March 2012 for us iPhone users, right? Or if the schedule is already running which it likely is, then an update could be out at the end of this year.
