i love this.

hockey fans are the worst.

it's easy to play with a broken foot because your feet are in skates, protected and there is no movement IN THE SKATE.

Thanks for your kind words. Yes, I am a hockey fan and I play ice hockey. You are correct, when the foot is in the boot, you don't move it much. However, you feel everything. Every stride, every stop and every errant puck that hits your feet. Especially slap shots.

I could've mentioned how Dan Girardi played with an MCL sprain that required surgery or Marc Staal played on a fractured ankle that required surgery but I guess those are easy injuries, too.

Did anyone hold a gun to his head and force him to continue using the iPhone. If after a week you notice it's causing you pain why not switch. This dude is an idiot. Sorry but if this was me I would not make this public I would keep it to my self cause he looks like a cry baby to everyone and what does he expect to gain from this. Blame the phone for his lack of effort. You should retire Matt Bonner just let it go or go play something that doesn't require you to use your arms let alone common sense. You *****.

Just do a search on iPhone elbow or snartphone elbow and you'll find it's not so funny. Nothing to do with the size of the screen, however; I had it with a iP4, got a shot from an elbow specialist, which cured it for a few years. It came back with my iP6 several months ago. It's an overuse injury, same root problem as tennis elbow, and no fun.

Wow! If only they were healthy....

(Sorry, disgruntled Devils' fan here)

I know knee injuries are painful but with a brace (for stability) you can function and play once the swelling goes down. I've done it.

I played on a torn ACL for a few years (basketball, which requires far more knee support than ice hockey), without a brace. It wasn't the smartest idea but I was still able to do it. I ended up having reconstruction surgery 2 years ago because I tore my meniscus and they just fixed it all up.

I wonder if he is going for the Guinness Record?

While everyone's distracted by the iPhone thing, no one's wondering how he can say he got tennis elbow when he doesn't even play tennis? I ain't no doctor but I smell something wrong here.

Ryan Mcdonagh played with a broken foot. NHL.
That's because hockey still is a sport played by men, while Basketball has become a playpen for crybabies.

Either he has a hand deformity, or has been playing too much Wii or doing too much of something else that requires flexing the elbows.

In he end, he should be glad he didn't get to use a cellphone in the 80's, when cellphones weighted a few pounds.

You don't have to play tennis to get a tennis elbow/arm, lots of repitetive movement can get you a tennis arm, I got one many years ago, and I never played tennis.

I know I know, but just maybe he was playing a tennis game on his huge iPhone and that's what caused it!
