I can see the intro for L&O: LA now.

"In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by to separate, yet equal forces. The LAPD, who beat suspects (cue Rodney King footage), and the district attorneys who don't do anything to the cops. These are their stories."

Does this mean that Dick Wolf has actual literal meaning to his name?

(i.e. did he personally make it not renewable because they didnt like him, unrepentant demands for $/contracts or something like that?)

No, from what I understand, he was willing to give concessions, along with the entire cast. He just wants to see it beat Gunsmoke.

Finally

Jumped the shark ages ago. Now it seems like with all the newer episodes are just liberal talking points set to a murder investigation.

Nonetheless, I love the show. I like to stick to SVU though, Marishka (sp?) is my main lady!

You can watch LOLA next fall, Law and Order LA.

Interesting shuffles by NBC, all their shows look so ....idk the same. same background, same lame writing. as if theyre all done by one group alone.

I guess moving L&O to LA isnt that hard to imagine...I guess theyll need to put something in the $50M+ studio they built for the tonight show last year lol.

Wow! I'm beginning to think there is a god. First Flash Forward, then this. Two very good decisions in one week. This gives me hope that maybe people are beginning to demand better shows.

sure, like dancing with the stars, biggest loser, survivor and similar emetic shows

even staying with the cop shows, L&O was still head and shoulders better than any of the CSIs, or its own spinoffs (including SVU, which got really tired recently)

The one issue I always had with L&O is that the D.A. won just about every case. It really was not realistic.

I can't even remember how many episodes left me pissed because they lost the case.....

It always seemed like most of them went Jack's way because he was super lawyer. I understand the point of the show was to show the point of view of the DA's office but it still seemed too perfect.
