duke managed to win- a few sloppy turnovers at the end by indiana

also dissapointed that nc state lost a close one, have to root for my acc teams when nothing else is on :D

Go ACC but mostly NC State!!!

How bout duke makin that half court shot to beat Vatech. I thought we had a new #1 for a second but dang

looking forward to the duke/texas game that is coming up soon... duke has had some trouble putting away lesser oponents this season- will be a good test for both teams...

If I was Duke I wouldnt be getting all that excited. I mean you guys almost lost to Virginia. I know it was exciting but you guys gotta be scared of some of the ACC teams that could beat ya.

Boston College
UNC
NC State
Wake Forest

maryland has a decent record against duke in recent years- teams always get revved up to play the blue devils

Yeah for some reason I just dont see Duke going all the way. It feels like their missing some experience because come tourney time I really wouldnt want some of those fresmen they have starting. They just don't really have that top notch awareness level you saw from teams like Carolina and Illinois last year. But if somehow Jj reddick and sheldon williams become covered the opponents are gonna look to the McRoberts guy and that other freshman

#7 Texas loses ... again, but this time not to #1

This thread has certainly cooled off, but I wanted to raise it up again now that the season is in full swing and we've had the chance to see some good conference games.

I have to admit I'm a little surprised there are no major unbeatens left, but I guess such is the life with more equality among the schools.

I'm fairly pleased with how Illinois has been playing, the loss at Iowa notwithstanding. I can figure on them losing at Indiana, but it seemed so close (I was out of the country and missed the game).

I still think the Illini have a good shot at Elite Eight, and maybe even Final Four, but they still have a ways to go. Still playing hot and cold.

So what are the big surprises? Certainly KY's falling off the face of the earth was unexpected, and I'm also pleased to see Michigan doing well again (as long as they don't beat Illinois).
