I am in the market for a decent USB hub... Looking for one that is attractive and also functions well..

Are there any hubs out there that will charge your ipod with the computer off?

You'd have to look for a hub with its own separate power supply for that - there goes "attractive".

I have that one under my current Mini..and want to replace it when I get my 20" iMac. It works ok, but does cause some interference when I use try and record guitar through an iMic and a guitar to mini cable...it matches more(and fits under the mini)..but those are just my thoughts.

Also note the connecting cords for USB and firewire that come with the unit are made to connect with the mini above it, so they are not very big(maybe at most 2 inches).

Lacie Hub would look very good next to an iMac, it is a little bazaar but useful all the same.
