So basically, your mom bought the movies and you're asking for a refund? LOL

Wow, you guys are harsh, but it is amazing how much a nights sleep calms me down. I get all my anger out at night, just means I need more coffee in the morning and may need to tend to some chewed open cheeks, but I feel a lot better the next day. The insurance thing was a bit my fault, but I did bring it in to bring perspective on how much I had already spend, a misguided attempt at trying to get some sympathy, but I should know best of all how cruel people are if you aren't face to face and within swinging range :p Then again I belief honesty is a good approach. Oh well, lost this round, but Apple isn't off the hook yet, still have my rounds on the phone coming up. Did you know it costs a company about $20 every single time an agent picks up the phone in a call center. I get paid to just sit here and do nothing most of the day so its not like I'm loosing anything. I'm a dick, but it keeps me going and I don't give up.

I own the X-Men movies on DVD, re-bought them on BD. I bought Lost in Translation and re-bought it on HD-DVD and if it ever comes out on BD I would buy it then again (beautiful movie). I have no feelings about getting my money back because I enjoyed those purchases. If say my mother had bought those movies mistakenly anywhere and I took them back unwatched and sealed in there shiny packaging the next day I could of returned them within reason (not a friggen month later).

Me harsh?? Heh. I think I was being the nicest in here! :p

I can understand being mad about this, but still your taking it to the extreme, it was not that much money, if your mom refuses to refund you, just give it up.

I was refunded, X-Men to my PayPal and X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand in store credits. I do apologies I was being a dick to some of you, but I do feel that you guys were being extremely rude. This is over, downloading digital copies now from the discs.

Funny thing was I asked for the Apple call backs between 10am-5pm, otherwise I don't pick up my phone. I just checked my phone, got 2 missed calls from the around 6pm yesterday.

EDIT: I compared the files I have versus the iTunes before I deleted them, the digital copies are the exact same files as the ones I got from iTunes. I had already deleted X-Men, but since nothing had been resolved with the other 2 had I them on my portable back up drive, I have now deleted them and replaced them with the digital copies.

I'm glad it worked out for you and honestly with the digital copies it is easy for someone who is not technically minded to mess up and accidentally purchase, in addition, there should be a 30 day return period, no matter what, as you had pointed out you could take a sealed DVD, Blu-Ray, etc. back to the store you bought it from and got a refund (with a few exceptions) Why shouldn't we be able to do this with digital downloads? Really, it wouldn't be hard to program itunes to accept a return and then delete the files from your system or simply say you are no longer authorized to play them. (Isn't that the point of this whole DRM thing anyway, to control what you can and can't do with the files on your computer?)
