Hi,
I'm using my parent's iPad and I found a annoying problem which haven't been noticed before.
Here is the photo, the area display well, but it does not respond to the touch or the pen.
It was the situation yesterday night, and this morning the problem dispear temporally.
Does anyone know the cause for this?Is a hardware isssue? Could I have a replacement in the Apple Store?
Thanks!

Btw I'm using air2 now but I really need the pencil function, still waiting the new pro so I won't have to using my parent's pro.

Plug the pencil into the iPad for a few seconds to re-establish the pairing.

Happens after an update or hard reset.

yes it appears right after the reset...but I don't think it's the problem of the pencil because with finger that area is still unresponsive.

It might be a hardware problem, it might not.

If the situation continues after restoring as new, Apple will consider it to be a hardware problem and repair or replace, at their discretion.
