snberk103: Once again a great explanation. Being Polish sometimes hinders the learning curve;)

Recently we took a trip with a group from our zoo. I wanted to create an edited photo CD for them. What I did was to edit the photos in my iPhoto album, not the original. I then copied them to a folder on my Mac, using Finder I selected the photos and burned them to the CD's.

It appears all the edits I performed were stable and evident. I, at this point, am a happy camper!

Once I am sure no one else wants a CD I'll delete those folders, as I now know the photos with edits will remain in the created iPhoto album.

Thank you again so much. Instances such as these proves the value of these forums and folks like yourself!

These are good forums (at least the photography one is! :) )

For next time... look to see if iPhoto can export directly to a CD. I'm pretty sure it can. It makes an easy job even easier.

Polish, eh? I have a fondness for perogies. I grew up in a community with a large Polish community.... yum yum. I know there is a lot more to Polish food than perogies, but when a folk festival group is trying to feed a couple hundred visitors - well, we got perogies. Lots of them. Now, my wife's best friend was born in Poland - and we've met her mom and brother, gone to her wedding, and we are getting a much more accurate introduction to this fascinating country. Plus I still get perogies.

LOL, perigees are terrific, my favorites are potato/cheese and cabbage!!! With lots of melted butter!

And yes, you can export to a CD from iPhoto, however, as I understood the directions, if you export/burn a CD via iPhoto it can only be viewed via iPhoto. Did I miss something?
