Hello!
I recently bought an iBook Clamshell which has Mac OS 9.2 /German language/ installed on. I want to upgrade to Panther but I don't have the original CDs. Is there any way to do the install creating bootable CD using another Mac and booting the Clamshell? Also, does the CD drive read rewritable CDs?

Thanks in advance

Panther can be downloaded here:

Burn the CDs and install - yes, your iBook can read CDRW.
