That would be the problem. To get a cheap ATI 9800, you'll have to bid on one.

Well there's a $20 all-in-wonder 9800 pro (with the TV tuner), will that work?

All in Wonders are not flashable. You could get the GeForce you were looking at earlier, but you will have to verify that it is flashable. I am not familiar with that particular card.

Well according to the guide and several videos, it seems to be flashable.
If it won't flash or work in the Powermac G4, well then I have a new GPU for my Athlon machine I guess.

What does "flashable" mean?

In this context, flashable is a Windows video card that can flashed with a different ROM so that they can work in a Mac. It is based from the verb "flash", as in to flash a new ROM onto a video card.
