go with the flow, dont try forcing anything. if you have known her for so long, she will know if somthing changes about you and if she does like you, she likes you for the person you always have been.

I really don't think asking her out in a high pressure situation is a good idea. If she is being flirty with you, just go for it in a more private low pressure setting. You all are young and have very little to lose!
