Like I said before I'm sure the phone is new, was still in perfect Apple packaging and stuff.

But in the end it really doesn't help me since it seems pretty much bricked (except for the warranty I guess...). Not much luck with my Apple stuff this year, two iPods stolen and now this...ha
 
Don't fret, just give AppleCare a call and get something in motion. They'll send a box/envelope to your residence and the turn around is pretty quick. Yep, it definitely sounds like it's bricked, but that's not your fault, it can only get better. My wife had two phones stolen this year, so I feel your pain. Keep us advised and good luck with your new 4GB iPhone. :cool:

Wow, so last night I put everything away, this morning I had work too early to call Apple and got back too late to call them as well. Decided to give it one more shot, plugged it in, and now it's restoring. w00t. I'm so excited....
 
So it works normal, but now I have another problem. Apple doesn't accept P.O. Boxes as user adresses, and NO ONE can ever verify my apartment. Regular phone service, cable tv and internet, even UPS has trouble.

Heck, they won't even accept my Wal-Mart...dumb...
