So I went to drop my iPhone onto my bed, it slipped off, and hit my heater. There is the slightest ding in the top left corner, above the glass on the bezzle, almost minuscule; but it makes applying screen protectors incredibly hard cause it bubbles that corner. Will Verizon or Apple do anything for me? Fix it, give me another one?

You broke it, but they should fix it? Good luck with that (or finding sympathy).... that attitude is one of the reasons the phones cost so much.

I'm sorry, isnt that the reason phone insurance exists? So if you do break it they fix it.

It isnt broke, just has a "meniscule" ding that is only impeding you adding a screen protector and judging by your post, it probably isnt impeding it much at all, you probably just cant get it perfect enough for your liking. Probably is a small bubble.

Thats my guess anyways. Why should they care if you have a bubble in your screen protector?
