Needed help to activate iphone 5s verizon

Not exactly true. I activated iPhone 5 s verizon via web. I am in Florida and iPhone 5s being activated was in California.

You can activated verizon iPhone over web as long as acct owner can do it.

The issue is it has to through Verizon servers. But OP is in India so verizon can't verify.

I saw that above screen a few times when I ordered my upgraded iphone from AT&T and received by mail.
Not sure about verizons verification or if you can bypass that screen by using their website.
Either way the seller is not willing to help him so he's out of luck.

I have sold a couple of Iphones before and never taken them out of the box so I don't understand the problem the OP is having but he needs to file a claim with Ebay asap

Did you receive them as upgrades to your lines and shipped through the carrier by mail?

yes but they were also shipped to people living in the USA . Not trying to argue with you Applejuiced cause I have found your info almost always 100% correct over the years and you helped me get unlimited data when I was with AT&T:D

No argument bro, just stating my personal experience with AT&T upgrades shipped to me before inside the US.
Something similar happened to the OP here.
Feel bad that he's stuck with something he paid for and cannot use.

This verification method only happens when someone orders a phone at a 2yr pricing directly from Apple.com. It doesn't happen when you order through the carrier. I don't know if restoring the phone from DFU mode will fix it though, since I haven't tried it that way.

Regardless of the back and forth, the OP has a phone that does not work for him/her and the seller is guilty of fraud in selling it and eBay/Paypall will probably not help him.

I feel for the OP, being out a lot of money for a phone that doesn't work and having no recourse.

I would never buy an expensive item like an iPhone via eBay - too easy to get scammed. I don't understand why people buy expensive stuff from eBay when you lose your money if the seller absconds with the money or sells a fake or mails you a brick.
