Yeah you have no clue what you're talking about.
Me - having literally worked on shows submitted to Netflix.
Yeah you have no clue what you're talking about.
In the current economic climate with inflation a continuing pressure on many households, a lot of people are struggling to make ends meet -- and a few bucks saved here or there can help. And I know a lot would say that Netflix (and other similar services) are luxuries that can be sacrificed, but TV is central to many households' lives and Netflix is the biggest name in that mix. So I am glad they are making additional options available to those for whom those $3 make even a small difference. Don't know what it will me for their subscriber trend and how big that group is. But I am in no way harmed by them doing this and some people benefit. You’re going to pay only $3 less and subject yourself to ads? Who is this for?
Might be (though probably not), still means you have no clue what you're talking about. No shows have been filmed in 1080p for ages (if ever though because the transition more or less was from actual film to 4k digital cameras and more) ,so I don't even know what professional camera equipment you would use to film in actual 1080P in 2022 (or in the years before).Me - having literally worked on shows submitted to Netflix.
The $6.99 price point is for a price sensitive customer that may have a 1080p TV and a sub-25mb/sec connection. Or just a smartphone.lol America is on 4K, Netflix. FYI in case you were wondering why your subs are down
About time. Although, some say 720p is the new 480pThere isn't going to be a 480p plan anymore. That "Basic" plan will now be 720p as well as this "Basics with Ads" plan

And if you can’t afford it then so what? Do you want government regulation of entertainment prices? In a few years Netflix will charge $13.99 for their 480p no-ads plan and say listen we have an ad-supported plan for only $9.99! What a bargain

So again you have zero clue what you're talking about and I would suggest you stop embarrassing yourself.
or just cancel Netflix subscription once a year for a month or two while using more intensively an another streaming service savings will be even biggerFor those who cannot afford to pay the additional $3!
Every couple months you can use the savings to treat yourself to a nice frappe.
Yea even I forget people watch on their phones. My wife watches some videos, but I don't like to watch on my phone. iPad can be a little better, but I would much rather watch on a large screen TV.The $6.99 price point is for a price sensitive customer that may have a 1080p TV and a sub-25mb/sec connection. Yea I haven't had them since they split the subs for Discs vs StreamingOh yeah…Netflix. I remember them.
But you’re subliminally grabbing a coke because you’ve exposed yourself to adsNo problem, I would just get up and grab a drink or some food when the ads start to roll. By the time I am back, the movie continues.
Or just pirate and no ads. Much better selection, much better customer support. $10/month will pay for top-notch seedbox.Just pay $10 and no ads.
Because it is foreshadowing what Apple might be doing. Why is this posted on macrumors?! Your guys are desperate for click![]()
The tens of millions who pay for Hulu's ad-supported plan. At least 60% of Hulu's 46.2 million subscribers (as of July 2, 2022) are on the ad-supported plan. You’re going to pay only $3 less and subject yourself to ads? Who is this for?
