I just switched in iTunes my Netflix account to the 4 screens plan. It doesn't specify 4K or Ultra HD in iTunes, but I refreshed my Netflix account and now I have the 4 screens + Ultra HD subscription. So I am able to continue paying for Netflix thru iTunes (saving 20% with iTunes gift cards). YAAAS!

Same here. I haven't gotten an email or anything warning me about it eventually happening either.
You still paying 7.99? Mine still has not gone up and I'm well over year past when they were supposed to raise the prices.

Your monthly bill will increase.
still hasn't ;)

I'm in the same boat with the grandfathered $7.99 plan through iTunes billing. I set it up back when it was a new feature for the ATV3. My guess is that Apple and Netflix will eventually figure this out, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get grandfathered in longer than customers who bill directly through Netflix.
Has yours increased yet? Mine is still the same... It's nuts!

Still getting billed 7.99 a month through iTunes here. I'd like UHD, but haven't bit yet on the monthly increase.

I'm now on the 4K rate, and to be honest I think it's a steal. Considering how much I'm paying for my cable (TV, plus internet) - Netflix is less than 10% of that.

I'd quite happily pay 2/3/4 times as much for a streaming service that had more content. Unfortunately, what we'll inevitably end up with is a range of streaming services, each with small sets of content and exclusives and have multiple bills growing every year.

I'm still only paying $7.99 for regular old Netflix via iTunes and that is in CDN$$...so just a couple cents US$:D
But just got a 4K TV and was looking how to upgrade...now I'm not even sure I will upgrade...still looks like I have to cancel my current plan and then subscribe again for 4K...but if I decide 4K isn't worth it I'll be downgraded to a price higher than $7.99...hmmmmm......

If you can find people to split the cost of a 4-user package, 4k is worth it. 4k iTunes movies and 4k Netlix is phenomenal on an OLED TV :)

This. I just moved to the 4k plan, billing though iTunes and it is confusing as it is not labeled at the UHD plan but the 4 stream plan.

Not convenient... since u'r loose all your 'My List" ...

That's what I imagined. It's also a mess for me because I share with my nephew, and sometimes I subscribe, sometime he does. We can't use a single Netflix ID because when he pays he shares with some of his friends as well.

How I wish they all supported Trakt.tv! Even using a single Netflix ID I have to manually add in Trakt all the movies and shows I watched.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, subscribing to Infuse Pro via the ATV settings instead of the App store is cheaper as well. I suppose it will work via iTunes as well (I dunno, I never checked it, I am not sure how it works either). Unfortunately there isn't the life subscription in there..

I left the $7.99 plan. They never kicked me off but T-mobile gave away Netflix so for the last year or so I've paid nothing for Netflix.

For you on the $7.99 plan still who want to jump up to UHD. While it's nice... I personally don't think it's worth it over the savings unless you're splitting with family/friends. I can tell the difference on my 4K TVs... but my wife can't and doesn't care and after a little thought I realize that I don't really care about 4K streaming either. 4K HDR Blu-rays on the other hand are killer!

I got the premium package which I'm splitting with my brother.

I signed up using my iTunes account and iTunes billing. I buy apple gift cards from Costco when they are on sale for 20% off so I save a bit more.
