Yes to an extent, Comcast will let you rewatch a missed show using on demand and there is the Xfinity app so you can also watch on the go but they don't last forever they usually tell you when the movie or show will expire. Of course for all this you pay a monthly cost for cable which for me bundles with TV Internet and phone for about $120.00 a month.

plus xfinity is really good about supporting all the various network apps like Hbo Go, Showime, etc...

I don't get the outrage...of course prices are going to go up on occasion, it is literally only a dollar extra a month, you don't have commercials, you have a decent selection of things to watch, and its not $80+ dollars a month like cable is.
Prices go up, sure, but considering it was $8/mo. only a little over a year ago and it's soon to be $11/mo., that's a 37.5% increase in less than a year and a half. Which is like ~10X inflation rate. Maybe that rate of increase won't continue over the long term but it's a pretty steep increase.

My costs haven’t gone up for a while? I pay for the year up front, it is a lot cheaper then Netflix and that’s before it’s latest rise..
And you can ditch Amazon and rejoin just the same as Netflix if you pay monthly.. no difference between the two, that’s a flawed argument where I am.

But with Prime I get the next day delivery including Sunday’s, I get online storage and photo storage and music streaming... as well as films and programmes.
You misattributed the quote. I did not write that.

I don't know what Xfinity is and I don't care. I just saw they annoying product placement in two movies I think.

BOOOO. I guess I'll finish watching Narcos and then binge a few other things before canceling.

Edit: And I just started Netflix 2 months ago.

Dud don’t be cheap plz. These guys guves u tons of flicks 2 watch 4 a few bucks so don’t be penny digger and pay 11

I am still paying 7.99 for two screens + HD and billed though iTunes. I haven't had a price increase in maybe 5 years, if not more. It the iTunes billing a legacy thing? I can't really tell the difference between HD and 4K most times, so changing plans doesn't really matter that much to me. I'm just wondering if I am going to be forced to. When I check my Netflix subscription iTunes, it says that my price is good though May 2016 and I will receive a 1 month notice of any price changes. I'm not complaining. Just wondering.

So you wouldn't have an internet package without the streaming service?

That's not what I said.

Example:

If your internet package is 50 GB, 5 GB is normal browsing and 45 GB is streaming, then 90% of the price of the package should be added to netflix, so when the internet package is lets say $50 your netflix will actually be ~$10 + $45= $55.

People will still pay it...Netflix knows your not going to buy an apple product for hundreds of dollars and then be worried about paying an additional $1.00 a month. Lol hey Netflix why not charge 2.00 more we will still pay it.

I'm not sure where you got that idea but I dropped Netflix after the last price increase and I'm certainly not considering it after this one.

Generalizing people is usually not a good idea.

Does anyone have the original Dragonball series?

All the Dragonball series (including the original) are on Funimation. Instead of Netflix, I have a yearly subscription to Funimation and Crunchyroll.

TV bill (not including the internet which I would have even if I didn't stream).
Slingbox Red ($25)
Funimation ($60 / year)
Crunchyroll ($60 / year)
Broadcast (over the air. 30+ stations although some show the same content) (free)

Total Cost $35 / month

The prices of all these subscriptions going up or everyone wants to make an exclusive subscription model for their content. What’s the point of cutting the cord from the cable company if in the end you end up paying just as much smfh

I'm still only paying $7.99/mo through iTunes billing for HD and 2 streams. I kinda remember that this price may have been grandfathered for a period which could be expiring soon, from the last time they increased prices to $8.99.

Still, when you pay through iTunes billing and buy iTunes gift cards for up to 20-25% off when they are on sale, the net price of Netflix comes down pretty far.

As to the lack of movies, honestly I don't use Netflix for movies anymore. They're shifting their model to original programming and I'm definitely OK with that. House of Cards, Narcos, OITNB, Love, Kimmy, Master of None, and Comedy Specials all make it worth the few bucks. Any movies I get to watch are essentially bonuses IMO> They're basically another HBO. A cheaper HBO.

Aee you saying you wouldn't use the data otherwise? Because if you would use it anyway, your brand of logic doesn't make any sense. I don't say "oh, MacRumors isn't free because I needed the internet to use it".

Weird. I have a VRV subscription and they're not showing up despite having a Funimation and Crunchyroll subscription on it for about 10$ a month.

I spend a WHOLE LOTTA time scrolling through Netflix offerings. Then I watch something on Plex.
Same here but I don't use Plex. I went on NF last night I was not in the mood for Heartland again. I scrolled for about 20 minutes and found nothing worth watching. Nothing. Gave up and went back to Boomerang, Funimation and Hulu for the rest of the night.

lol But we have 2 seasons of Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn as well as Bella & The Bulldogs (both Nickelodeon), & the US doesn't. You're welcome. :p
Hulu has Bella & The Bulldogs in the states. :D

I'm not sure why. I have a premium subscription with both of them ($60 each / year) but it is through them (not VRV).

Here is the funimation.com link showing the dragon ball content that they have.

https://www.funimation.com/search/?q=dragonball

Dragon Ball is great. I original got Funimation for Yu Yu Hakusho but the show got so dark and mature by the 3rd and 4th season that I lost interest and did not finish it.

I does make sense only you fail to see it.

Another example:

I drive to my job daily, all petrol/taxes and insurance is included, now I get a new colleague from the same town, he/she has no car and want me to pik him up each day, should I do that for free also since I already own the car including cars?
No, he will pay for it.
So you have to divide the cost of the internet package too, it costs extra money to look at netflix.

If you fail to see it that way then that's not my mistake in understanding, it's yours.

Or, we just disagree.:)

Oh wow.

I'm seriously laughing at this act you're putting on that you're some purtian from the 1800's. Keep it up.
Some people have little kids and they don't want their kids to be exposed to that filth that Netflix is peddling.

Good on them. But adults also have the ability to find good shows instead of finding their fainting couch. Netflix has plenty for kids.
