Well if 85% of there content was not mature but it is. Really first they ruined Marvel for me making that mature which was the last price increase.

Then I was looking forward to Castelvania they ruined that making that mature and gross. Then they even ruined one of my favorite country singers Brad Praisy making his show mature.

Really and losing Disney for there crappy Millarworld which produces adult comics.

Also don't forget the flank they got for there "kids" series of a drawn penis and there new mature cartoon about kids that have sex and can warp people into being sex offenders. Netflix should rename there company Netfilth.

It sucks. They don't even have complete seasons. Get Funimation (if you liked dubbed and older animie which I like) or Crunchroll (if you like sub and newer which I hate subtitles) and even Hulu has better animie too.

I have a VRV subscription. But nowhere else has Little Witch and nowhere else is getting Kakegurui. Nowhere else has Glitter Force. The newest Fate series is also only on Netflix.

Netflix has exclusives like Anime Strike does.

No, no, Tivo is not just a DVR. Fixed that for you, from a 500GB Bolt owner. :D That model is either a cablecard or an OTA STB, with decent apps for several streaming services, while the Bolts with bigger drives are cablecard-only.

Netflix, separate Amazon Video and Amazon Video Prime apps, HBO Go, Hulu, YouTube, Plex, EPIX, Vudu, Vevo, Ameba TV, WWE, Baeble Music, Yahoo, ALT Channel, IGN, Tastemade, and several more. They also include "TiVo Suggestions" - shows recorded that supposedly align with personal tastes - but I have that feature disabled.

I use a Slide Pro Remote, the keyboard makes search a breeze - unified search across channels and apps. A Bolt in my field office is connected to CL Fiber and a Winegard HD antenna, it's fantastic. My home Bolt is connected to Comcast and also gets their Streampix (hundreds of movies and TV shows in that archive…). And, I can upload any stored recording to my iPad with their app. No, it's not perfect - I actually brought in an X1 to try out, brought it back a couple of days ago as I couldn't deal with only one active channel (the Bolt I have has up to 4) and the X1 remote is too dumbed down compared to the Slide Pro (and TiVo's submitted a voice controlled remote to the FCC, but I'm sticking with the Slide Pro). Cheers…

Yes, Tivo is technically more. You can use streaming apps on it.

Yes you can, that's why this cord cutting seems to me just a hipster thing for people ditching cable, just the other day I tried HBO Now and I can't remember which series, but it was an HBO original and they only had it from season 5 or 6, like really, they did not had the whole series, then that bitch about people pirating stuff.

Hipster? Never been called a hipster before. And just because I want to watch certain things that most cable services don't air and want to be able to go back and watch all three seasons of Gotham right now on demand.

Well, I don't want to watch them. But I could.

I love the Dragon Ball series which NF does not have.

Does anyone have the original Dragonball series?

Funimation has it dubbed or sub, and uncut (does not make it vile really uncut for some sexual themes minor hint sometimes naked Goku and because of the turtle hermit), preschool compared to Netflix aka Netfith original adult content.

It is, until it isn’t anymore...

At some point I can see a cable/satellite conglomerate trying to buy out Netflix/Hulu/etc so they can get their customers back.
You know who owns Hulu right. Network and cable companies.

I see with all the bad moves when NF really gets hit in 2019 with the loss of what little Disney content they have I bet you Amazon will buy NF then.

So what. At least they have what I want. Since the addition of the TGIF lineup something I been waiting forever for NF to get I been watching them more. Really the only thing NF has left is Heartland but wait no season 10.

You'll get an email around the 19th of this month.
Wow not even a gradual increase like last time. I guess the increase will go to the next bunch of filthy originals warping the minds of good people..
[doublepost=1507226411][/doublepost]Maybe NF should change there horrible original bumper the worst of any network from that annoying "Bah-boom" to "Cha-ching" a cash register makes because that is where your money is going to produce more vile garbage.

Oh wow.

I'm seriously laughing at this act you're putting on that you're some purtian from the 1800's. Keep it up.

We’re frogs in boiling water.

Not exactly. We know the water temp is rising, will whine & gripe about it to no end, but then just opt to boil anyway.

More simply, we're all bark and no bite. If the lot of us refuse to pay more, the price would quickly come back down. If we refused to pay the price of the new iPhone, it's price would come down. If we refused to pay the cell phone rates, their pricing would come down. Etc. But we don't. We just gripe- maybe really, really loudly- and then pay.

The sellers enjoy the added revenues and pat each other on the back for being so right about market acceptance. Then, they start plotting the next increase. Inflation is not a problem driven solely by seller actions. Buyers must be willing to buy at inflated prices for inflation to actually take hold. If no one is willing to pay, sellers must deflate to lure the money flow back.

We consumers seem to have forgotten about the immense power of "No!" Instead, too many of us have found "shut up and take my money" to be an endearing mantra... even gushing to each other about a particular seller in terms like "...but who has the most profitable _______" like that is some big, personal victory for us.

As long as we- as a group- are so willing to pay up, the "up" will keep rising.

I don't mind paying extra 2$. Netflix is perfect for me. But what I do mind is, that we in Europe get not near the same material as you guys in USA.

Honestly, I only have it for my son. As I said earlier, I watched Defenders and that was it. He hasn't even watched lately because of school. I may end up cancelling for lack of use, not so much for the price increase.

I’ll probably still stick with it a bit longer, but if we keep seeing price increases the value over cable may go away.

It’s a freaking dollar. A month. 12 per year. 3 cents a day. I can literally find that in my cup holder in my car. Or you could maybe cut out 2 coffee runs....a year, for you know, hours and hours of entertainment. Btw, you’re on a Apple forum complaining about one dollar a month.
I am complaining. Netflix just isn't worth the money they are charging. I think I've found one movie THIS YEAR that was worth watching. I've accessed Netflix on my AT2 three times this year because I know it's so hard to find anything worth watching. I'm done when my two free years is up.

At least in the U.S. you have many times the content we do in Netflix. And we are paying more than you are. Should they increase the price without adding content I'd cancel. Might do it anyway. It's been a while since I've last seen anything interesting in Netflix.

The top tier option, which provides streaming on four screens at once and allows access to Ultra HD videos, is also increasing from $11.99/month to $13.99/month
That is the tier I subscribe to, and I didn't know that it included Ultra HD.

I know a lot of people are going to complain about the price hikes, but it is still a great deal imo.

If you’re going to raise the price, renew Sense8.
Very overrated show. I was excited about it when it came out, only to be let down. The best thing about the show is the cinematography, but dialogue, pacing, and some of the acting is horrible.

I didn't bother watching the second season, but I wished they focused more on some of the characters, and kill off the annoying/boring ones.

Prices are also going up in the UK. Ultra HD plan will go up to £9.99 up from £8.99 :(

I don't feel the UK Netflix content is worth the current price. The US has a much better range of content, but we're here getting a second-tier content, especially in the movies department.
