This is excellent news.

Now I wonder if they'll offer the same service on the Apple TV or Playstation 3. Being able to watch movies on my computer is all well and good, but I've got a 50" Plasma in the living room, and I'd much prefer to watch them there...

Um doesn't this:

I'm not knockin' it.
My NetFlix account would reactivate and I'd buy two AppleTV's if this would happen.

answer that:
Why would Apple allow another content provider use their equipment?

Apple runs the iTunes Store barely more than profit, they make the money on the equipment.

How does allowing NetFlix content on AppleTV work in that plan?

This is great news and will give me one less reason to fire up the XP VM.

I have a friend who installed VMWare Fusion and Windows XP specifically to watch Netflix on his Mac. Whoops... :p

That's what I have been doing and boy am I tired of it!!!!!

I love Netflix but this has been the one thing that's bugged me for a long time.

This can't arrive too soon!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish Apple would just buy Netflix and port all the movies over to iTunes.

Why in the world would we want that??? Right now I pay a monthly fee for my Netflix rentals and I can watch any of their available "view instantly" movies at no additional cost. Why pay for each rental when I have a set fee I pay now for unlimited service??

Netflix site is down... Revamping for mac streaming?

(fingers crossed)
