From what i can tell the new MBPr only has a slight processor boost.

I can get a Refurbished 15.4-inch MacBook Pro 2.3GHz Quad-core Intel i7 with Retina Display for about $200 cheaper. I can afford the New one, but I'm wondering if it's worth it.

    Thoughts?

On Apple's store, you will generally pay 15% less for a refurbished device than it would be worth if it was brand new. So you should try to save more than $200, unless the refurbished one had some advantages compared to the new one.

I bought a refurbished 13" Retina, and from what I see, there isn't a huge difference in the new computers except a processor bump. I'd say go for the refurb. Beware, the retina screen is a beauty;)

Been discussed heavily here and MBP area over the past week. Most folks say to get either refurb, or the older model new. But not much sense to get a new-new one.

There is a really slight difference in both, although $200 more is not that bad. It would come in handy when selling the machine since it will be the newer model .
