Do you mean that machine that Apple advertised so heavily during their keynote back then and ridiculed the naysayers by saying "can't innovate anymore, my ass"?Annnndddd there goes the last reason to buy a nMacpro...
Well, not really. The Mac Pro has CPU and GPU power that you can't get in the iMac. However, I suspect that the vast majority of PC users don't need that.Annnndddd there goes the last reason to buy a nMacpro...

Wow OWC seems to like their RAM as well as Apple. $1200 for 64GB?
The price is high because its new I remember when 16GB was that expensive. OWC was the only maker at the time of 8gb chips. prices will go down once the market increases.
5400rpm... seriously, that's like a factory still pumping out Jaz drives.I think the 5400rpm HDD is the part that needs upgrading.
True but then they'll be a 128GB model....then what to do!!!!
My earliest Mac ran Tiger, but I used to own a PowerBook 540C for fun... my fellow geek took it from me, but he won't have even used it - I recently requested it be "re-allocated" back to me. I have a lot of fun with old OS'- esp OS 9.2.2 "Eeep!"
Storage options are awful though.
not buying until they bring Target Display Mode back. Love the 5K screen, but I want to see other things on it other than the computer inside it. The computer becomes obsolete, but an extra screen will stay useful for a very long time.
Time to make a ramdrive and run my os from there.
Uhhh, won't that get erased if you don't write it all to disk before shutdown?Time to make a ramdrive and run my os from there.
