Sigh, you can say that about ANYTHING. Samsung is FORCING me to buy 256GB of SSD. When I want more than 128GB and the next step up is 256GB, then Samsung is forcing me to get the 256GB model. There is no model in between.

You took it in the other direction with "You guys are extremely too over the top with that argument. Apple has a gun to your head?" I was appreciative of the fact that they are NOT forcing me.

That's exactly what it still is. The camera is better than any camera on ANY touch/iPhone comparison. (5/5S camera) The low clocking on the processor keeps the battery running longer and it also pushes a lot LESS pixels than the iPhone. It comes in 128 GB for 399. ALL iPhones have had 1Gb of RAM for 3 years. As does the current lineup. Not sure how this some horrible upgrade that doesn't compare to iPhones. It's the closest and iPod has EVER been to an iPhone.

It could have had the same 4.7-inch screen than the iPhone 6, with a bigger battery to accommodate the same processor. Now, THAT would have been a nice iPod Touch : "an iPhone, without the phone."

Regarding the memory, I think it's safe to say that everyone agrees the iPhone 6, released almost a year ago now, should have had 2 GB. It's very limiting for us developers, and it doesn't cost so much to Apple to add it.

Regarding the space, 16 GB is ridiculous at this point. The external storage we have on iCloud won't save it - when a couple of companies start giving away unlimited storage for free. Every lineup of every company should start with 32 GB or have expandable storage. Since Apple doesn't wanna go the expandable storage route - and I can understand them because it can ruin a purist design - they need to have lineups of iPod Touches and iPhones that start with minimum 32 GB. All those apps, games and retina pictures account for a lot, especially with the 3x resolution found in the iPhone 6+.
