What's new? I updated with yesterday's update (which works great) but I don't see anything today. Would be helpful if people supplied version numbers in conversations such as this. My last update was 2.0-1.

I updated yesterday to 2.0

That made it work on 4.1

Now today's update says 2.0.1

And there's no change log

An airplane mode toggle is worthless..... airplane mode disables wifi and I use wifi on airplanes.... I just toggle my "Phone" sbsettings toggle to switch off the celluar network when I hop on a plane and it's all good.

Developing this toggle was a waste of time IMO.

From what I understand, the default phone toggle still didn't work for some people? And others just wanted to see that little plane icon. I use the default phone toggle since I also like to be able to still use wifi.

when i use airplane mode is to shut everything down including wifi without having to shut the phone off

thats why i use this instead of the default sbsettings one

That's your opinion, and a bit severe. You do realize as a frequent flier that you need to shut more than "phone" off when on a plane even if you can use wifi once at 10k feet, right? Don't see this as a total waste of time as it is a direct toggle of an embedded menu item on the iPhone OS. Exactly what SBSettings was designed for.

Yep....and clearly there's a market for it since so many have been asking for it. I don't travel much but appreciate this toggle for when I do. But I also shut down everything before I go to sleep as well to conserve battery life. This makes it more convenient to do just that. Additionally, on the rare occasions I let my son mess around with my phone, I'd rather have all radios off than on.

Just because it doesn't fit one thought of usage scenario doesn't make it worthless.

i would consider myself a 'frequent flyer'....
and i cannot live without this toggle. stock one didnt work. it greatly simplifies my life, multiple times a day, especially while at work... it was far from a waste. i would have paid this dev a dollar for the working toggle. he did a fantastic job.

to accuse him of 'wasting his time' is foolish... tell ya what... go write your own sbs toggle thats not a waste of time. let us know how it works out for you...

your user name is perfect for you....

Actually I don't travel a lot but I still have use for it. For example, when I sleep, I don't expect anyone to call me so I put it in Airplane Mode and it saves a lot of battery, I charge once every 4 days or so. Also, many people are saying that in Airplane Mode, you cannot use WiFi, this is wrong. To use WiFi, all you need to do is turn Airplane Mode on, then turn WiFi on after that and you're good to go. Yes it takes two steps, however, I'm just saying that it is possible.
