I'm definitely ready for a new MacBook Pro given my late 2013 model is starting to feel its age and has dropped off the bottom of the supported list for macOS 12. I'm holding out on buying any of the current models because of the rumoured return of magsafe and some additional ports which will be most welcome if it comes to fruition.
“MacBook Pros postponed until fall 2022 due to chip shortage”. Now that would be news.

So... basically this article confirms that the MBP won't be released today or tomorrow (last 2 days in Q2)? You don't say...
Of course it is coming. I am more interested if it is as early as September or as late as December.
Not super exciting compared to some other manufacturers in the last 2 years that have many compelling efforts.
Still waiting for a MacBook with pen support in convertible form.
M1 is nice but they've put them in a body that has been extremely underwhelming for the last several years.
Also the price.

Your prediction can't be wrong if you make it vague and just keep shifting the dates, right?

JK, would love to have such a Mac Mini, but shouldn't get too expensive, base model pricing isn't too bad, that is, until you upgrade to more RAM/Storage/Gb ethernet, 16GB adds $200, each additional storage step-up $200, Gb ethernet $100, + Taxes.
I bought the wireless charging case for them, but it's having issues - one earbud won't charge while the case is on the charging mat.
yeah, great. when are we getting a new imac for grownups? my 2011 27” is so far past retirement age it should be drawing a pension.
Did anyone else notice that this company made bearings for the MacBook Pro line? Bearings? Not for the fans, I assume, since they buy them off the shelf. For the hinge maybe? Where else are there bearings on a MacBook Pro?
If the new AirPods are just Pros minus the tips, they’re not gonna work for me. I took the tips off my Pros and stuck ‘em in my ears….they fell out almost immediately. Hopefully they’re a bit more tapered at the tips or better yet, come with tips.

Same. Biggest annoyance i have with the AP1 is that for some reason the mic cuts off sporadically so people i´m talking too cant hear me. Only way to fix is shove them back in the case and wait a few minutes and then reconnect. Major pita.
So hoping for a release sooner rather than later.
