I used a Apple Lightning (others did not work) cable to my Airpod Pro case with them in it and the lid closed and my phone right next to it and in 3-4 minutes the case seemed to reboot - the light came on and they were done - had been trying with other cables with no luck

How to do get Airpods pro to auto switch? I just tried going back and forth between my ipad and iphone (both running 14)?

Am I totally mistaken, but I thought that as soon as I stop playing something on one device and then try to play something on another device, the airpods will automatically pair with the second device ands start playing.

thats how it works for me. If I am listening to music on my iPad, then pick up my iPhone and played music it would stop playing on my iPad and play from my iPhone.

I installed spatial sound for my Air Pods Pro. It does sound "spatial" watching TV+ videos. Like you're there.

This feature needs to work with music. I did not get spatial sound for any songs in Apple Music.

Mirroring a TV+ show using Apple TV currently does not let me hear the spatial audio through my iPhone.

I have updated my AirPods and am running the latest version of IOS 14 but when i go to the volume, it still shows the bar for ANC,OFF,and Transparency mode. Is there a setting to enable spatial audio or does it just not work for some iPhones?

You need AirPods Pro.

I have tried everything that's been suggested on here, and still, the AP Pros have not updated. My AP 2's have.

This worked for me...
iPhone on WiFi
AirPods case plugged to computer with lid open and earbuds in case

After a little while the firmware was updated
