michaelrjohnson said:IF it happens, it will most surely be iPod/iTunes related. Apple has (no?) history of releasing/announcing new Mac-related products on Thursdays at "special" events.
That being said: I really dont' feel that Apple/Moto would be able to market me an iTunes-enabled phone. But given the state of wireless phones in the US (crazy popular) there are plenty of people who have money to throw at it.
Besides, Sprint is my mobile carrier... so they won't get the Moto phone anyhow.![]()
Chundles said:I don't get this, can't you guys just buy the phone and use the carrier you want? Why would your choice of network preclude you from buying a certain phone?
I believe if you read closer, you will notice that it is less of a special event like last year's introducing the iPod. And more of just a general announcment. There is still something going on in two hours. It just won't be iPod related is what Apple is telling us.iGary said:Mac Daily News is reporting that there will be no event today...

MacTruck said:Nope. Doesn't work that way. Moto Razr is the nicest phone out there but its only for cingular and they SUCK. Sprint and verizon have way better technology and service.
I think it has to do with where your getting your service at. I'm in downtown cincinnati and my entire family has had cingular for years, even before they merged with AT&T's service. None of them, including myself have had any problems whatsoever with cingular. Actually their service coverage is absolutely amazing. They're not kidding when they say they have more bars.MacTruck said:Nope. Doesn't work that way. Moto Razr is the nicest phone out there but its only for cingular and they SUCK.
